Bente is 11 and has the voice of an angel. When she auditions for The Voice Kids, her life drastically changes. Suddenly she becomes popular at school and she has to make very adult decisions, though she stays just a child. While she moves through the various rounds of the talent show, she starts doubting more and more… Is this really what she wants?

Documentary maker Marijn Frank followed Bente Fokkens for a few months during her participation in The Voice Kids and wanted to know what participating in a talent show does to kids.
