In ‘The Hit‘ songwriters get the unique opportunity to pitch a song to famous Dutch artists. Every week there are six brand new songwriters who will be put in their own soundproof room. They will pitch their song to two popular artists. Which one of the artists will recognize the hit potential of one of the two songs and claims that song the fastest? After the first round, each artist chooses two songs he or she takes into the recording studio. From that moment the songwriter and the artist will lose contact. In the grand finale of each episode will be clear which of the two songs will be released as a single.

“The Hit” can put the lives of yet unknown songwriters completely upside down. They end up in a musical roller coaster where everything revolves around the passion for music and the hunt for that one golden hit.
